Anyway, I couldn't bring myself to care about the other characters aside from the main couple, if they lived or died, so I can't' say i felt scared reading this. Also, the heroine appeared a little too unrealistically stupid and clueless to be believable, and the same goes for her friends (Lisa, as well as the douchebag James). It lacked realism and it was obvious there were loopholes in the game as Gavin, despite his talent for chess and manipulation and planning, is definitely not a supernatural being blessed with the power of ubiquity. Review 1: This book was definitely the weakest of the trilogy for me.
